Default Front bumper trouble

So I have a fiberglass bumper on my car. It's not OEM and it doesn't fit quite right.

I'm trying to figure out how to get it to line up better. Particularly on the sides where the splash guard is at. A link is fine. I can read. Just not really sure what to search on this one.

I have little experience with lining up fiberglass panels like this.

I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks

(Please do not suggest getting an OEM bumper)

welcome to the world of shitty fitting aftermarket fiberglass. Since it seems you don't want to replace it... your only bet is to cut, shape, refit it to the car. It's a lot of work for a beginner. as far as a link, do a google search on reshaping fiberglass would be my best Idea. There way to much to explain that I'm not prepared to type out

glue it lol.....serious. check out the 3m automix line. It is a panel bonding adhesive. They have many variations of the product but i would go for something that is fast cure, so you can glue it then hold it there for 10 mins and see it it holds. It might work but i feel bad for whoever has to take it off next.

That is the worst idea ever.. fiberglass is a bitch, then when you have to cut and rebuild the panal to fit and in the end you will have 30-60 hrs into it and still looks like it dosent belong. I have over 200hrs in a CJ jeep fiberglass body for a friend of mine and its still wavy and looks like crap.. Dosent help he wanted to do this for cheap, you get what you pay for...

Well. My issue is it has holes drilled in it for this body kit. It has big side skirts on it and a rear bumper. I'd love to just replace it with a second hand set of bumpers, but I can't find any locally. I will search for molding fiberglass. I've used fiberglass before, but not like this. And most of the cars I've worked on in the past had steel panels.

reshaping fiberglass
On it.

You can push and slot holes to make it "fit" alittle better.

Could you explain slot and push? I may know what you mean or I could be way off base.

I'll probably try and cut/add some glass to it to make it line up a little better. I'll be honest here. The last time I used fiberglass was to make a Clone Trooper jetback. And that was some years ago.

dremel out the bolt holes, and push on them to see if you can get them to fit alittle better... it wont "fix" it but will help it look alittle better.

I plan on trying to find a decent second hand set sometime soon. I found a couple EF/ED at the yard but they had front end damage, ect. I also need some tail lights probably..
