My friend is claiming the fastest S2k in the world...
he just spent over 25k on it and rebuilt the engine with custom turbo. he has about 590hp boosting at 18psi. it is a daily driver. also has many other body mods and thick tires and etc. im not writing this to brag, im writing this to see if anyone knows of other s2k with this kind of power. ive searched all over. thanks

The fastest S2000 in the world goes 167mph. 
Even with a 1000hp, he wouldn't be the fastest S2000 unless he replaced his final gear ratio with a ratio lower than 4.10 or modified the gearing in his transmission. Later next year, a group of us hope to set the world S2000 record at the SilverState Challenge in Nevada.
http://www.chrisdrivesafastcar.com may be the verifiable winner for most POWERFUL S2000.

Well there was some mis-communication, but the motor is pretty powerful anyways
I haven't dynoed the car, but I estimate that the car will make around 500 hp at 20 psi of boost (to the ground.) I am currently running 16 psi because the wastegate spring isn't heavy enough. I just received a 15 psi spring, so I should be able to run up to 20 psi without a problem once I install it.
The engine builder basically made a motor similar to his drag car which made 730hp at 27 psi with a huge turbo. I am running a T4 so I expect to make somewhat less power, but still a healthy amount.
I should be ready for the dyno in a week or so.
S2000 **** would be no problem, but I'm not located in Cali If you can work it in the budget I'd be happy to show you around the motor, and go for a ride..

keep us updated on the project. im very interested in seeing if the Fseries motor/rear end is as tuff as the Bseries.

i thought that the worlds fastest s2k was claimed by body werks and drivers image in chi town i guess not since he couldnt do better than 13 on silly gas and comptech supercharger but them guys wouldnt know how to tune that car if it hit them on the hey but a turbo s2k is awesome that opens up so much potential i hope you do good and keep us posted

That's ridiculous, this car is not equipped to handle that kind of horsepower. You can make it go sideways at the drop of a hat with stock horsepower.

DAMN!!!!!!!!! nice car man....but its too bad you only have 590 hp.....cuz my friend just dropped in his REALLY CUSTOM turbo(its gold coated and crafted by tibetan monks...and blessed by the pope) oh yea...and he also has thicker tires(rubber ones).....PROVE IT BITCH....AND THIS GUY might have a new job with HONDA.
