Hey all... New to the forum. I'm 43 this year and I've got my first Civic. Found a nice EF straight body, only a few little dents and dings. Alos with fairly clean rebuilt motor on about 50K miles. Needs a lot of work but thats why I bought it. I commute aprox 90 miles a day for work and the D15 gets an awesome 42mpg. I've recentely started looking into customizing. I know I'll probably loose some of that MPG but in the long run I believe it will be worth it.
My Civic is a 90 DX Hatch (Canada) in winter white. I haven't really done much to her yet short of getting her road worthy. Just recently I've run into a little problem. I'll be starting a thread in the technical area to see if I can pick the brain of my betters.
Long term I'm looking @ possible engine swaps. I know a DZ16 would be a drop in swap with the least work but I really love the idea of a B18B1 under the hood. I could play with that for some time before I got board with it. I realize that most people try to make these a 10 second car but I'm actually interested in circuit racing, which will also keep the car more in line with the JDM.
