Hey ive just bought a ukdm itr but the previous owner has put a custom cluster in and the temp gauge and fuel gauge doesnt work, any ideas what the problem is? Did a google search but didnt find any useful info cheers guys. Incase u needed to know its a 2000 model.

 

Try putting a stock cluster in and see if it works,cluster is probley bad.

Strong possibility.

 

After closer inspection its the standard cluster but with new gauge faces and some leds so they glow

 

I will upload pics in morning when ive took the clear plastic cover off so u guys can have a look

 

Bingo. Swap the green film from your original cluster.

 

It is the original cluster mate

my fuel gauge went to full
but i was empty lol

 

Its all working now and seems accurate :-)

Well the previous owner had put new clock faces over the original ones and they was not stuck down properly, ive added a pic so you can see what I mean

I wasnt digging them at first but they are growing on me :-)

 

Reminds me of the Spoon EG6 gauges. Looks good
