Brake light on cluster
after i started and warmed my car up this morning and started heading to work I noticed my brake light was still on. After I started driving for a while it went off. On the way home from work it did the same thing again. Why is it doing this? I was thinking it was from the cold weather from last night.
at this moment I'm going threw the same thing.
I've check the fluid and its fine. I had Acura change the brake master cylinder and it still happens.
Acura advised to park the car and leave the e-brake down and start it in the morning. (Theirs a sensor in the e-brake, they wanted to know if that was the problem). The brake light still came on.
I going to take it to them again. I let you know what they say.

It's probably your brake reservoir cap. These have been known to go bad and trigger that light. Try replacing it with a known good one. You can always just unplug the sensor if it is a bad cap, that should eliminate the light.
I feel sorry for all of you who paid to have new MC's and such put in when it's such a simple fix

Since you say the fluid level is fine, my bet is on the cap.
The switch ("sensor") Dee Cee 2 R is tlking about is the parking brake switch. This is a very simple device and I've never seen one fail even in 20+ year old cars.
The cap is often the problem, and acura reused the old res. and cap when they swapped the master cylinder.
