I did a mini swap. A6 block z6 head. Car died and when cranking with the key, it sounded like the cam was spinning super fast. Turns out, the key on camgear broke off, the camgear spun as the crank rotated, but the cam gear didnt make the camshaft rotate.
I have a spare b2 head, took the gear out, but it wont slide into the z6 camshaft... both gears have 38 teeth, are they not compatible? Or is my camshaft broke? Need help please.
