Default BMXA REBUILD SPECS

Looks like I will soon be rebuilding my bmxa out if my 01 civic ex sedan. I watched a few good YouTube videos on removal and transmission disassembly.. I got the transmission out of the car, no problem. The trans teardown looks pretty easy and straightforward.. However, I do not know the specs for clearances in the clutch packs etc. I've searched and searched and searched, and also used my free alldata on this car for this reason. I cannot find the information anywhere. I do not want to spend a hundred bucks or more on the honda manual that I will use once for a few specs.. Does anyone know these specs or where I can find them online for free? Or if anyone has a link to a video of transmission reassembly for the BMXA that would be great! Thanks!

If you're friendly at all with the parts/service department at your local dealership at all they will often print you out a portion of the service manual.

Watched this video... Got the trans completely apart in an hour or two... A simple two/ three jaw puller works just fine on the gear.. He used a nice bearing buddy type attachment which is nicer but anyways...

Everything looked good except one steel was really burnt... Filter was a bit gunked up... And there was a LOT of friction material in the case... It's all back together up to putting on the filter... I need the upgraded filter and it did not come with one in my kit.. Got one for 20 bucks on AMAZON... Here's a few pics...

Please let me know if you guys see anything that looks incorrect.. Or out of ordinary.. I noticed the separator plate has divots from the check *****.. But I don't think that will hurt anything...

Still need to put in driveline and subframe... Old filter vs improved bmxa filter... New torque converter... Sprayed the trans housing gaskets with coppercoat to help with any imperfections I created scraping the old gasket... That sucker was on tight..

Everything transmission wise seems good, except the D indicator starts flashing after driving a short while.. My friend said it was flashing for the previous 3-4 years they drove it.. Sometimes when I put it in gear I have to jiggle the shifter a bit to get the D light to light up. Think this has anything to do with the range sensor? Also a plug one one of the solenoid sis broken but I feel like it still has a good connection. Any thoughts?

So this is what I came up with for the blinking flashing drive D indicator. codes came back with among other non trans codes. P0720. Speed sensor fault. After doing a little research and almost everyone saying that this means the trans is shot I peeled back the loom on my wiring to the countershaft speed sensor... Look what I found . I also found a poor connection and two wires cut off at the body ground area on passenger side front of tire...

Maybe I should change the title of the thread... Bit anyways since these are all related topics I'll ask this here as well. I drive the car to work yesterday and realized I was tailgating everyone.. After a while I thought if check the speedo. I downloaded a gps speedo app and my speed is reading out on the speedo 7-8 mph slower than acts up speed at 55-60 mph... The tires are 195 65 15. Vs stock I believe 185 65 15. So this is only like 1-2 mph at 60. Or a ratio of 1.02. So that's not all of it.. I do not know the history of the car other than it was in a front end collision.. My ABS light came on on the end of my drive to work.. (About 30 miles). It was off on my way home the entire way... Is abs used at all for speed calculation? Or just braking?? Any other ideas??

You got a great deal for 400 bux, hey on Hirams video on the teardown at minute 14.00 of the vid where he prys up on the gear what did you use to "tap/reinstall" it on rebuild since its pressed in and on the section where you used the 3 jaw puller and Hiram used the bearing splitter/puller combo what did you use to press it back together.
