Default harness to harness ?'s

i have a da engine harness for an ls b20 i intend to swap in my dpfi ef sedan. im soon to be swapping the current dash harness for an mpfi si harness. i know the plugs dont jive on the two. so, without having the si dash harness to peep out yet, im hoping someone will confirm my suspicion about the wires before the plugs on these two. aside from the vtec wires im assuming i can hack off the plugs and connect the wires. to any whom may know, or would like a little insight as to why im not taking the more traveled road, please chime in or ask. i would prefer not to fill this thread with my bullshit preferences. thank you much.

i dont think the conversion from dpfi to mpfi has anything to do with the dash harness...

looking at this da engine harness im seeing the most notable difference between it and my ek harness, which is the ek harness plugs into the ecu and the da harness does not. i assumed the engine harness plugged into the dash harness, and the dash harness plugs into the ecu. unless its the cabin harness that plugs into the ecu, is my assumption correct? i dont have the original engine harness for the car, otherwise i would use it. if anyone gots facts, it would be appreciated.

Engine harness plugs into the cabin harness, as does the dash harness.

The da engine harness won't plug into the ef chassis/cabin harness anyway

i have plugs from another da I can use. I can cut the plugs and solder the wires, im never putting a different motor in it. I dont mind making it permanent.

your best bet is to convert your own dpfi to mpfi.To start even if you do the ef si cabin harness from a crx or hatch it wont plug into the da integra engine harness. If you don't wanta convert your dx engine harness then find a crx si cabin harness along with crx si eng. harness and your all set.All plug and play.

I know which harness will give me "plug and play" capability. my initial guestion was wether or not the only difference in the dpfi and the mpfi da harness was the plugs. if anyone that KNOWS can answer that, then please. if I have to work this out with diagrams I will, but I would like to know before I have to do it.
