So....im a ***** for OEM stock mostly, and i put in my EDM cluster, and NO green cruise plug...bummer...i liked cruise control.

Soooo...got too thinking, can i just put this plug into the EDM slot for it, its already there ready to go

I took this out my EX cluster...doesnt look like it plugs into anything on the board or anything:




Can i just slide this in EDM one and cruise will work? Im gonna try anyways but just looking for confirmation

 

Yes you can it's not connected to the rest of the cluster you might have to use your original gauge overlay or cut the hole in the edm one for the cruise insert

 

Oh and that's not the cruise module that's in the drivers kick panel that's just for the light

 

The cc will still function without the light, just an fyi. but yes you will need to mod that into the original cc location in the cluster and swap over your logic overlay.

 

Ok so what about this... Don't put it in the cluster... Just plug it in so It works properly?

Oh and just for record... It's a 2000 Ex that had cruise fully working already before the edm cluster

Yeah skip. My led isn't working for cruise control because its used for the 3 stage vtec eco mode LED. But my cruise control still functions.

BTW: I have a 2000 civic lx sedan so I know.

 

That's the Stupidest design I ever heard of... Lol.... This light that matters nothing must be plugged into or no cruise for u
