Over the past two years, my Accord has done this 5 times. It is completely random, but it won't start. Won't turn over, nothing. Not a sound. It might be 10 minutes later, or it might be two days later, it will start just fine & everything is wonderful again.

I once had it towed to the shop after two days of not starting. When we unhooked it at the shop, it started. They keep saying I have to bring it to them when it's acting up, but that's kind of hard to do. They wanted me to leave it & see if it does it again, but it might be 9 months before it does it again.

Everything mechanical is fine. It has to be something with the security system.

 

I had this happen in my SUV. There was something wrong with the wires that connected the key to the car.

 

Just to make it more strange...I went back to the Accord, still sitting in the parking lot where it spent the night...and it started right up.

 

Next time it happens remove key and reinsert a few times. Try starting between intervals.

 

This happened to me last night, stopped to get gas, got back into the car and it wouldnt start or turn over. Took the key out multiple times, nothing. Had someone give me a jump and it started right up? Been driving it all day today and working perfectly?

 

Maybe the starter.

I recently replaced mine. I had no signs it was going out other than a few random times it wouldn't start. This was also on a 03 Accord 4 cylinder.
