Hello I bought a ctr ek spoiler off ebay and got it painted. The problem is when I install it and open my trunk, the base plate hits the chassis or the top part of my car, anyone had this experience? I have been at it for at least 30-1 hour trying to figure it out, I assume it was going to be easy as in take off the old and install the new but the base plate is my problem, any way around this, I don't want to sand off or cut some of the base plate off because it just got painted. Please help

 

when you say off ebay as in a used one or (the more likely) a knock off ?

 

Hey never mind I figure it out, it fits perfect and yes it's a replica but looks great just like the ctr
