94 honda accord lx overheating issue
hello everybody, new to this forum but i was looking for help i have a overheating issue with my 94 honda accord lx vtec few day before issue happen it was running fine i know it might be radiator but double checking before paying for a new one. few days ago it was running fine no overheating issue then couple days later it started to happen so i check under the hood and i notice the radiator bypass hose was detached from the radiator (next to radiator cap) the hose was fine but some of the plastic was broken off the little plastic tube but i was thinking its still usable instead if buying a whole new radiator for that i was thinking buying a new hose and clamping it tight to the rest of the tube and the plastic tube is still enough length to put it firmly but idk if its a good idea or not just trying to be cheap cause dont really want to spend the money on it if i could use it still .
hope someone could help on the decision on what to do
thanks

Overheating can be caused by, loss of coolant, air in the system, stuck thermostat, fans not activating, or debris blocking the flow of air through the radiator.
^^^mike has made it clear.
Anything visibly defective pertaining to your vehicle should replaced asap IMO...especially the cooling system. just my .02

ya im assuming that hose goes to the coolant tank or resovoir. when car is hot it purges water there once cold it sucks it back in. do you have any coolant loss before we deem any bad parts and you have to pay for them?
Can you make a video of what you are describing ? Sounds like the radiator is bad but the only way I can picture the overflow reservoir melting is if there are exhaust gases getting into the system. How is the car running ? Is it showing signs of misfiring ?
You can get a Denso radiator from rockauto for about $65 shipped. That sounds like the way to go but you might want to run a compression test just to be sure nothing is going on with the head gasket.

sorry for the delay and there is 120k miles on car its 5 speed manual if it matters but yeah there is no leaks no exhaust gas also i figured out the exact name of the hose it was the overflow hose and that hose is connect to the tube/tank object and which its broken some.
also i had a problem with the map sensor that cause my car to go into limp mode and i replaced that part but for some reason i cant get it off limp mode i tried detaching the battery terminals for about 35 mins didnt work but i havent tried removing the #13 fuse and the odo trip rest but was wondering what you people think about it and any ideas?
thanks

Would it best to check the terminal at the ECU? If the harness is damaged it could also reduce voltage output due to high resistance, ,yes?
It's not really going to matter and it's easier to just check a couple of sensors. The reference volts is going to be on any one of like 5 sensors. Even if one is off you can easily check the others. They're not going to all be low voltage if there is a wiring issue on only one of them.
tps, map, ect, eld, prolly one more i'm issing off the top of my head
