Default vehicle was smashed! body part removal help needed!

Last night at around 2 am, someone smashed my drivers side car window, and both mirrors completely. I have a 1988 ef civic. I will be going to the junkyard to get a new door, as the crank window was already broken I was wondering if there was any easier way to remove the door other then removing the fender and bumper. And if not how would i go about removing the bumper. I know about the fender, now just wondering about the bumper.

You can replace a door on an ED hatch without removing ANYTHING else... I've done it.

Open door part way, unplug electrical connector(s), fit wrench to remove bolts holding the door to the hinges, have fun.

Word, it's REALLY simple and super self explanatory when you look at it. I think there's also a pin that holds the door stop. The hardest part or the whole ordeal is lining up the new door properly. get a friend to help and that's cake too.

^Good catch. I forgot about that pin. And yes, super simple. I think naturally a person's normal thought process is to remove the hinge from the body but most people forget that you can remove the hinge from the door while leaving the hinge attached to the body. It's worth mentioning that it is more beneficial to remove the fender for ease of removal and installation of everything but it's not absolutely necessary.

Why not just change the window and handle? The window requires only 2 10mm bolts that hold it to the window regulator. Take off door panel, roll window down and there is a point where you can see both bolts that hold it to regulator and slide it out the top. Mirrors are super easy to replace also. I wouldn't replace the door unless it was the same color and in better shape.

I would, however the window doesn't roll down i believe because of the regulator, and there was some damage on the door.
