Default Hasport Mounts- Vibration, long term

I just thought i'd make a quick thread about longevity on EF mount kits. I bought a set myself many years ago, but still haven't used the car But, it will be done this summer!

Anyway, I know they vibrate though the car, especially when new, but that can be offset by a higher idle. Just wondering for people who have been running them for years how that are holding up?? and how the vibrations are

I wasn't asking if a car shakes due to age, I wanted to know if the Hasport mounts loosen up and vibrate less over time

No they do not soften up, although the rubber does eventually start to give out and sag over time. At that point you can either send them back to Hasport for warranty replacement or just purchase the replacement inserts. I did this last time since it wasn't much more than return shipping for all the mounts. Hasport has great customer service when handling warranties.

I am on my third set of inserts with the old style (non billet) Hasport mounts. I bought the mounts used back in 2001.

After 3yrs still feel the motor in my seat. I love it...never thought engine mounts could better my appreciation of my hatchs' driving experience.

I completely agree. The vibrations are not even bad. I love the way the hasports feel so much that I installed a set onto my dpfi wagon and even that feels great!

About 3 years with mine, keeps my b20 solid. Haven't felt a difference since I bought them. Such hood clearance, many ground clearance. Wow.

OP, let me tell you from experience. Every woman that's ever ridden in my EJ1 has enjoyed my hasport mounts. Yes, ENJOYED.

Did early HASport mounts still say HASport on the driver side timing belt mount?
