Default My Problems.............

Recently put a stock clutch in the car with a 14 lbs flywheel. Upon finishing and driving the car developed very bad axle vibration and I went through six axles before hooking up with Mardi at RAXLES. the car still has a slight vibration but it is constant and not affected all that much by acceleration. the car also sputters and jerks at very low RPM's in higher gearing, like 2000 rpm @ 60-65 mph in 5th gear. It feels like the fuel is cutting on and off. Corey and I have racked our brains trying to figure out this one and well I have run out of time and patientence to deal with it. Help me fix this before I turn the car into a race car and buy a truck.

Could your wheel bearings be failing?

Did you break the clutch in right?

I swear you are describing the same symptoms of what my friend's civic did. He went right out and beat on his ACT XTSS clutch kit, didnt go through the recommended 300miles, the disk got scored, cause it to jerk on low rpms and made a vibration.

Just a thought.

thought of that but realized it isn't due to where the vibration is, it is a shaved and turned stock Prelude flywheel
