I'm a terrible driver getting worse by the day. I drive too much. It's convenient. It's also expensive and my insurance is now through the roof, so I'd like to find a way to have someone else have my car for four months or more without selling my car or unregistering it if possible. I recently moved to the Boston area and can get by without a car. I don't want my car to sit for four months as it has 272,000 miles on it (nor do I really have a place to store it). It's in great mechanical working order: 1992 Civix VX hatchback that gets great gas mileage.

Any ideas on what I could do with my car while I take a break from driving?
