Default Clutch problem

Hey guys so Ive had this problem for a while now. Usually doesn't happen unless it's warm outside or the car has been on for a while. Sometimes when I shift into gear and push on the gas pedal the car just revs as if it's in neutral. And yes, my foot is completely off the clutch, and the pedal comes completely up. Any ideas? My clutch going bad? Hydraulic problem?
Thanks.

UPDATE: So today is the worst I've seen it. Luckily I was just getting home, and as I was heading down my neighborhood the teg wouldn't move at all. I could put it in any gear and take the clutch off completely with no gas and the car wouldn't stall. It's as if it was just sitting in neutral. I pushed it to my house. I let it cool down, and started it an hour later and it was catching the gears. So it's only when the car is warm, I can't seem to figure out what it is.

sounds like it's starting to slip, but at the same time revs as in neutral so it doesn't even catch a bit ? does the gear fully "go in", what happens after said revving does it bite or do you have to slam it back into gear.

Ditto the above^^^

Also agree that you may not be going into gear properly, slipping clutch is not normally intermittent.

How do you tget it to work? 94

No I'm going into gear properly because, eventually it'll bite on the gear and take off. Saying that, I have to let off the gas a tad, then it'll bite and take off, sometimes I have to do it a couple times to get it going.

Either the clutch is slipping or you have a blockage of fluid. Is the pedal very hard to push? If not...it's most likely slipping.

slipping clutch, especially since you say when it's warmer out vs cold not that's very "warm" lol but I live in northern Ontario.

No the pedal isn't hard to push in at all.
