Default Where can I get a copy of current IT rules?

I am building a new car and I want to make sure it is going to be legal in IT as well as the scca AutoX class I am primarily building it for. TIA

Contact the SCCA. http://www.scca.org

That is the only place that has them.

Get the SCCA GCR, there are many diffs between autoX and IT rules before you change anything. I am speaking from experience.

The short answer is that cars prepped to IT rules are allowed to run in Street Prepared (or they were not very long ago), but you cannot pick and choose between the rules where they are different. My understanding is that a proper SP car should beat its IT-prepared equivalent. There are a number of SP modifications that absolutely will be out of compliance with the IT rules so, yes, you do want to get both rules books before proceeding.

Have fun!
