Best Exhaust System?
Search.
Depends on your application, also. To some loud as fawk is heaven, to others its just plain dreadful. There's no one 'best' exhuast system, probably a handful of realy good ones, though.

Spoon/Toda header, catjack, straight piping routed under the subframe to a N1 muffler from Apexi/Spoon/etc.
that is the most power providing setup.
but you may have other things you demand from an exhaust like it should be quiet or pretty... or even legal

The Mugen header/twin-loop exhaust is good for over 200 whp and is quiet. But it is heavy and has a very mellow sound (not for everyone). It has somewhat reduced ground clearance due to a very large central resonator. It also has a couple of "bottlenecks" that people seem to think makes it restrictive. Fit and finish is second to none.
The Spoon N1 is also good for over 200 whp and is very loud (no silencer). It has the advantage of being light but requires an aftermarket b-pipe (like the Type One). The flange of the N1 is still 2.25" (or smaller?) and requires modification to be a true 63 mm through and through system.
SMSP is a custom 2.5" system that looks and sounds awesome. The header is very long and requires a custom b-pipe. Should be good for well over 200 whp. Less expensive than the Hytech. Requires welding (usually). Also has excellent ground clearance.
Hytech is also a custom 2.5" system. The header has anti-reversion chambers and also is very long. Requires custom b-pipe. Very expensive and very difficult to presently get (very long wait times). Designed as a bolt-on.
The new Type One (T1R) is supposed to be 63mm through and through (no bottlenecks). You can get a SS or Ti muffler. Sounds great too. See A&J for details

T1R exhaust systems are 100% SUS304 aircraft stainless steel with 63mm ID (for NA), 76.3mm (for FI application) and 1.2mm tube thickness to ensure enough exhaust flow to bring performance to the limit. Specifically designed for mid-range to hi-rpm power. Applications: Honda EG, EK, DC2, DC5, AP1. Usually Stocked
