97 civic rear wheel arch suggestions?
Hey guys i have my quarters cut out and ready too be welded on but im gonna fix the complete wheel well first. has anyone done this and have any suggestions? i called afew local dealers and they dont carry the part.
17 years up north obviously knew their would be damage in their, cut it all out and fixing it up. Car will never see another canadian winter again cant wait.
Sick im 18 doing this all at school its been there for awhile though, only 3 hours a day. Going too buy some galvanized steel or yah 20+ gauge steel i cut it all out today.

Inner rear fenders wells were the biggest job took most of my time..
Used my friends account at napa for the paint products. Silver civic with 2l of paint + clearcoat+ hardener with tacking cloths came up too 678$ is that normal because its silver by any chance??

use some seam sealer on all of those seams, and then use a coating product to cover the metal. it will both seal and quiet the rocks and road debris that will hit it as well as prevent rust issue.
really nice outcome. do you have pictures of while your were moulding the outside . or did you use a weld on complete piece.
Thanks guys and yah seam sealing it all and for the wheel wells im using tar too cover it all up and waterproof it.
and yah i used two complete quarter panels the rest was fabrication some steel. Glue and welded them on welded everything else also. Then covered it up with bondo and putty.
Got a body shop painting it just had too supply paint. Their gonna sponsor the car. So i got the professional spraying for free paint and clear should come out great.

Alot of it went like this spent alot of time doing it and learning it was my first time doing body work. Enjoyed it greatly cant wait too see the finished product just bought some eibach sportline springs.
The inner fender yes the other part was tapping screwed in tight, 3m adheaive glue. Took out the screws, then welded afew spots too make it stronger then covered all the holes with bondo and putty.
Just used the screws too pull the two pieces together and hold it in place.

Used some spray asphalt in the inside, its never gonna see some salt again is it a good idea too leave some parts primered ? As in. Underneath the rear bumper the area where the mud flaps go.
Hey guys finally got someone I know too help me paint the car in their paint booth,
Turned out amazing by the end of the week I should have most of it put back together.
