Which intake manifold is better?
blah blah blah.... it depends what your set up is... Skunk2 is good for all motor and the JG one is good for boost. Also I DO NOT think you can use a stock Honda throttle body on the JG one.
-what I've heard is that the SKUNK 2 manifold is ****...
-You can get more power out of a stock intake manifold, with a little bit of work put into it...
-thats what I've HEARD from some experienced people...

This is why you should keep you "I heard" comments to yourself. Only facts need be presented here.

Exactly the kind of **** that does no good.
If it's just for a basically stock B16a then yes I'd say that the Skunk2/JG manifold would be a waste. It was me who posted about a really bad-*** B16A build-up from Mike K that specifically LACKED a Skunk2/ITR manifold because without the cams and headwork it doesn't do much good in the end.
...but the debate here is Skunk2 vs. JG.
I'd like to know what this would be for? Motor? Mods?
skunk2 manifold is pretty much an itr mani in a sense right? just made to fit the gsr. Is the b16 IM similar to an itr? I would think it makes more of a difference on a b18c1. Well...I guess when I get my IM...i'll dyno before and after. Then I'll post results.

Skunk2 manifold is 100% identical to the ITR one. Only diff like you said is that the GS-R model has a different bolt pattern to fit the P72 head.
What motor is this for?
What motor is this for?

Sorry, I rarely give two ***** about polls.

Well it's still too vague.
Mods?
This has been covered so many times it's not even funny. Try the search function perhaps?
The manifold sucks if all you do is bolt it on. The VTEC is too low and the tranny gearing in the GS-R sucks if you get a re-chipped P28 to move the VTEC up to match the manifold style. It will come very close to or drop out of VTEC in shifts with the stocker GS-R tranny and a 5800rpm VTEC point with a re-chipped ECU.
As a bolt on the Skunk2 does suck. If you have cams and a good ECU program and a B16a or ITR tranny then yes it might be worthwhile.
I'd keep the GS-R manifold and try to make that work.

So the factory ITR manifold must be **** too, because that's what your really buying anyways...

-hmmm, since you're from san diego just go to carlsbad one of these weekends and let the people I heard it from explain it to you (if its even important)...

Maybe you friends know something a multi-million dollar company doesn't know, but for now, the results speak for themselves. The skunk2 manifold on a GSR works, and provides more HP over stock.
(PS, never heard of Lucky racing from LA, the only people I know are Ben Ma, Paulice, and RJ Simrock from AEBS, Levell from Engineuity, and a host of other import racers from across the country)
-well I know LAVELLE pretty well... we are from the same crew...
-LUCKY racing has a few 11 second all motor cars
-there was no need for being an ******* like most of these ********* on this site...
-btw: im not saying a STOCK manifold out performs a skunk.. im saying a STOCK one has more potential... call up Lavelle and ask him also, he is one of the many that told me this....

JG mani is super good for NA... I'm not too find of SK2 parts, esp. the mani. The JG has been proven to have superior gains over SK2. I've seen dynos for both and JG wins all the time.
