Default are all b series tranny cases the same?

i have a cracked tranny case and need to swap the internals to another. tranny is a JDM ITR N3E lsd tranny. was wondering if im able to swap all the internals into any other b series case or which one would i need?

All 94-01 B-series cases are identical minus the breather chimney and some mount studs. And the OBD2 VIN plate tags. Nothing internally is changed so they will all swap over with the proper shimming.

so say if i bought a gsr bell housing (piece that cracked) and reused the itr outter. all lsd, fd, and gearing will just swap into that bell housing?

yes just be sure to check the shimming clearence's so you dont ruin a good case
