So I got this 97 gsr head and a mounting bracket on the cam cap broke.the bracket you can screw the bolt that holds the valvle cover.the previous owner used gasket seal to cover the hole for the bolt for the valve cover.here my qustion would I be able to just replace that cam cap and call it it a day.it really looks ugly.

This is a question 50/50, buy the caps and install it and call it a day it's a big NO.

You need to take the head the caps and cams to the machine shop to be aligned honed.

People take his chances with one if the cam spin as supposed, but why risk your engine. Do it once do it Right!!!
