**91 Civic SI d16z6 swap redline**
I was just wondering, my stock tach says redline at 6500. I have a d16z6 swap, so what do I set my redline at on my aftermarket tach? Stage 1 blox cam, stage 1 xtd clutch. P28 non chipped ecu. Thank you
Pretty sure you can leave it in nuetral and just floor it though, right? Mine hits 8k in nuetral, not that I would really suggest revving it that high for no reason.
Instrument I'm glad you can take the time out of your day to post something like that on my thread. Hope you feel better. for the other two; I looked up the specs it says 7200, I guess the question is. Is that safe? I don't want to damage anything. If i left it in nuetral and "floored" it, it would go to 8,000. But I know there are fuel cut off at a certain point.

Anyways. It should hit fuel cut off even in nuetral I think. I know mine hits the rev limiter regardless of gear. 7200 is plenty safe. The factory rev limiter is safe. I wouldn't cruise the highway in 3rd at 7000 rpm, but if you are 'drag racing' or something you should be able to shift around 7k and be fine.

It is 7200 RPM redline. Fuel cutoff is exactly 7411 RPM. So you won't be in the red for long before the ECU cuts your fun. And i smacked my cutoff a few weeks ago in first gear. It felt like a quick brake tap, from the engine shutting off then reengaging. High revs should be fine. just don't cruise at high revs like those gay riceboys that you see around miami beach. You'll blow the welds on your intake.
