97 civic DX: Can I use a P2F cylinder head in place of the P2A-7 head that is on it?
Hi Guys,
I have 97 Civic DX. The head that is currently on the D16Y7 block is a P2A-7. I need to replace the head and wanted to use a re-manufactured head. I can find plenty of P2F heads, that according to the various charts on this forum, are what the 97 civic should have. I have found info that says this car has the correct head on it(P2A-7). I would like to know if these 2 heads are completely interchangeable. Or if i will need anything else to make a P2F head work on my engine.
