I recently bought a carbureted 88 Honda accord and I need some help! The car starts just fine but if you let off the gas it starts to spit and sputter! It won't just sit there and idle without wanting to stall. When you start driving it does the same thing, just wants to idle high and wants to stall at random times! I have no idea what's wrong with it! Please help

A lot of times they suck air at the carb base and act like that. Otherwise you may need a carb rebuild...

 

I think I'm just going to do a webber conversion because I wouldn't want to rebuild it and it still do the same thing

 

BEST THING EVER! You will thank yourself every time you start it.
