Relocated ignition in lieu of S2000 start button?
So I've seen plenty of people on the interwebs who have installed an S2000 push start button where the key ignition was. What I have not seen is where anyone ever relocates the ignition cylinder to. Basically I'm toying with the idea of relocating my ignition cylinder and am curious if anyone here has done this. If anyone here has done this I'd love to see. Looking for ideas/inspirations. Thanks in advance!
I don't understand why you would do that. If you are trying to prevent theft install a kill switch, anything else is a waste of time really. The factory ignition is very specific to the column, you would have to make a new bracket or use a universal cylinder with a different key.
This isn't a theft issue. I'll rephrase. When I searched for CRX S2000 start button, I saw that a lot of the people who did them placed the switch where the ignition cylinder was. I want to know what they did with the cylinder. As in, "Did they eliminate it?" or "Did they relocate?". I'm aware of the properties of the factory ignition and how specific it is to the column. This is why I'm asking.
