4th Gen rear brakes
1993 prelude Si
I've done the vTec front brake conversion. My question is are the rear brakes for the vTec larger as well? I'm guessing if they are it is the same swap as the front as far as brackets and so forth but for the rear calipers.

According to that site there is no difference. I was just surprised that the front vTec brakes are so much larger than the rears. I have checked websites before and they told me there was no brake difference between the vTec and Si on the front brakes, althought everyone knows this isnt true, so I figured someone here would know for sure.

Im pretty sure all 4th gens came with drums in the rear other then the vtec models. So all rears should be the same on 4th gens if disk, aka vtec model ones.
The 4th gen fronts are different, the Vtec model has over sized rotors. So there is a difference between the Vtec model's and the SI's, and that is the size of rotor they are to be used with. The smallest rim you can fit on Vtec calipers is 15"s, but you can get 14"s on the smaller SI's calipers.
The fronts are the same as 5th gens, im 100% sure about that.
As for the rear of 5th gens, my guess they would be the same as 4th gens.
