Default Tranny whine after new clutch

No luck in transmission/drivetrain section: 95 Ex with b20vtec/hydro tranny. Replaced slipping clutch with an Exedy stage 1 along with pilot and throw out bearing that came with kit. Ever since it has been whining when clutch is engaged (pedal not depressed). Seems like ISB but it only started after new clutch was installed. Everything went together smoothly; could it be that I got a bad bearing with the kit or could I have damaged the ISB during install? Whines in neutral and in gear with clutch out, pitch of whine gets higher with light pressure until it goes away.

Being as it started with the clutch replacement, I wouldnt think it would be an ISB. Could have just got a defective bearing in the clutch kit...

You have a bad bearing in the transmission provided you didn't damage the pilot or the release bearing during install. ISB is most likely cause. Remove the transaxle and repair it.
