2002 Honda Accord Intermittent failure
Hello any and all Honda lovers. I have a 2002 Honda Accord EX Vortec V6. For the last month and a half my car has not been right. It started out where it would just slightly bog down and almost feel as though it was loosing power or something and usually when it was at a stop. Well then after the light finally came on, I took it into a mechanic and the diagnostic for the check engine light said that it was the crank shaft sensor. He checked it manually and tested the sensor and verified that it wasn't and it had to be the PCM, which then I had to take my car to Honda. Well after a new crankshaft sensor a fixed oil leak (that was supposedly leaking onto the sensor), and a new pcm, my car is even worse now. The light came back on and now it is saying it is the 3rd clutch pressure switch. Whatever the problem is, I do not think it is in the transmission. I have it at goodyear and for 2 days, they have been trying to figure out what is wrong with it. So far no such luck. Like I said before the symptoms are it wants to die especially when I come to a stop. When it gets real bad it will even do it when I am driving and even die. At one point when I first got it back from Honda, it felt as if it was going to die the whole way back to Honda from work. I am not sure if there is a better way to explain it. I have put almost 3 grand into it. And so far all I have gotten that is almost worth it is a new battery and an oil leak fixed (small one).
