So I've been thinking of painting my CF Invidia front lip body color lately. However given the rarity of the item I don't want to either regret or ruin the piece. So I was wondering if I could use Plastidip as a primer so that if I don't like the end result I can simply peel the paint off and return the lip to it's CF state unscathed.

I did it. Came out pretty good.

 

try it on something else first to see if you like the outcome

 

thanx for the feedback fellas, was planning on that siblues..just thought i'd see if anyone has done it yet.

 

I think i've seen somewhere else that plasti dip with regular paint applied over it does not just simply peel off like it would if it were just plasti dip.

 

Ummm, it comes off, just harder to get off. I painted/cleared over. Came right off still.
