Are you looking for prices on the engine itself or for a shop to do the swap for you?

H22 - $900 to $2500 Depending on if you want an H22A, Type S or A complete engine and trans swap.

F22B1 engine only - $400 to $800

Those prices are for imported JDM used engines/transmissions. No shop rates for doing the swap or shipping included. You will have to call a local shop for actual prices in your area.

 

thanks a lot ill probably do the swap myself I just need an engine I don't need anything fancy I just want something stronger and faster than my accord engine

That's the place everybody recommends for buying a used engine. Its almost a direct swap, just need a driver side prelude mount and extend some wires.

 

since my accord is a 96 whats the newest year motor I can use

 

2014 if you want to do all the work of swapping out the wiring harness and buying the K series engine, transmission and CD Accord mount kit.

But if you are looking for an easier swap the 96-02 H22A4 would be the newest year that is still a pretty basic swap choice for your chassis. If I'm not mistaken there is swap info in the FAQ for an H swap into the CD chassis. If not, the internet is full of H swapped CD Accords.
