b16a help ?! water pump head gasket cams??
ok so this is what i have , a b16a , the head says its an 89?? pr3-1 head
the motor runs good but i want to do basic maintenance and also replace the head with a 1994 gsr, p72-2 head with b17a cams
the reason i want to do this is cuz i have the head and cams so why not?
but i dont know what water pump and belt to use or head gasket ?! or should i even do this?
i have been looking around but couldnt come to a conclusion..any advice would be alot of help!

is there any particular reason you want to do it? you're not really going to gain anything. a small bump in compression i guess. not enough to mean anything though.
nothing really changes as far as components. only difference is intake manifold. so b16 belt, any b-vtec head gasket, water pump.

There is an expression, "don't fix it if it ain't broke", I agree with kyden, I see no or little gain in doing so or another expression, "more work then it's worth". 94
ok thanks guys for the hellp , anyway my motor droped ? and now is rubing aginst the driver side of the engin bay...just a bunch of bad luck with this car:/ , i was planning on taking out motor and making it my own thats why i wanted to do the b18 head
