Icon2 Theoretical question: adding ABS
Would it be possible to add an ABS to a non-ABS (LX trim) '98 Accord Coupe I4? If so, would it involve an ECU change, or is the ABS autonomous?

It's possible but it's going to be a lot of work. It will require a junkyard nearby. You won't want to buy all the parts retail. The abs is by itself.

Thanks for your answer: this does it for me -- I would love an ABS on my darling, but I'm not willing to expend heroic efforts.

Unless you have a donor car it can become time-consuming.
