1998 Honda Accord Turbo Build Help
Hey guys , i plan on doing it to my car for the summer, 1998 honda accord ex jdm h22 lsd tranny
I just want to know what i should do...
Would it be better to buy all the pieces separate and build the turbo that way, if so i would need help/details on the best/cheap build
Or
Just buy a shitty ebay build and hope it last long and if so how long would you say?

first thing u will need to do is order a set of mahle gold series pistons. these can be used on the H to turbo. if u dont want to buy the pistons u will need to sleeve the block. if u dont do any of these u will need to run very, very low boost. like maybe 3-5lbs. block could break if you push it.
as for getting a kit vs building one yourself, i would say build it yourself. alot of kits offer good parts but sometimes lack on other parts. by piecing one toghter u will get what u want.
before u go and start buying parts u need to know what your hp goals are, engine management, tuner, etc....
turbo builds get expensive, it cost me about 6-7k for my B1 build but i built an engine that can hold more than 600hp. but i'm running 250hp since it is currently an auto (switching over to 5sp before summer).
the only thing i can think of that u can use from ebay might be the piping kit. also be careful when buying specific parts on ebay, theres alot of knockoff parts floating around. a friend of mine bought a HKS bov new and it turned out to be a knockoff
