Default Acura LS or GSR

Im Looking to buy an LS or GSR, i want to get a few Peoples Thoughts On Which One I Should Buy i Want to Boost Or Supercharge it but i also want it To Be My DD. Im Really wanting to Know Which Set Is More bang for my buck and will Last the Longest. Thanks

GSR(B18C1) hands down especially if boost is in your sights, the ls's weak point is it's rods(an other things). GL finding a clean gsr tho

i found about 2 in my area under 200 on the clock i plan on re doing the internals. start from the ground up. i have a si I'm going to all motor so i wanna a dump a couple thousand into boosting a b series

if you're upgrading the internals it won't matter as much, but the ls has an 89mm crank vs the 87mm of the gsr so a little more TQ however you'll need to go the lsv set up with it then.. so I'd say which ever is in better shape.

i would get the GSR main reason is that the LS use and old school oil oiling rod design that makes their rod bearing to crank surface smaller the the GSR. the B18C1 block uses a oiler system that if off the block and squirts oil at the bottom of the piston this will give you better cooling and lubrication for the pistons with the turbo. either way you go you will want a GSR water pump and timing belt. this is because the GSR water pump drive gear has 22 teeth ver's the 19 tooth LS pump it will flow better at high rpm with the GSR pump. and you need the GSR Tbelt for the larger water pump pulley.


all the other stuff i would note here is pretty common for any build like cams, valve springs, valve guides, scrap the Stock intake... Bluh bluh bluh
