Default Front Wheel Bearings

I have been looking around for wheel bearings, mostly on the Rock Auto site, and really don't know what is a good brand. I have always used Moog, but that doesn't mean they still are the same quality. Rock Auto carries Timkin. SKF, Centric, National, and others. Some, like Centric, seem to have two quality of bearings at a big difference in price. Some are more expensive than what Majestic gets for OEM. So, any thoughts on what is a good quality brand would be appreciated.

I am going to use the Moog, i would not use the cheaper Centric as i called there customer service and they said that the 2 lines are very different in quality. I think for the price the Moogs are a good value.

The OEM brand is NTN. Timken sells the NTN bearing. No idea what MOOG brand is. I'd advise sticking with the Timken(NTN) bearing for piece of mind.

Thanks. I didn't know what the OEM brand was. The original race (at least I think it is original but it could have been replaced) says "JAPAN AN" then "NTN" and "HUB132". The Magestic parts catalog didn't mention a brand. I will go with Timkin.

Sometimes you have to dig in that catalog, 96 2dr EX nets "BEARING ASSY., FR. HUB UNIT (NTN CORP.)". PITA when looking for parts at times.

For wheel bearings, go with Timken (NTN). I would use MOOG for suspension parts if I couldn't get OEM.
