difference geometry of CTR vs ITR sway bar
As the topic states. I'm getting an ITR sway Bar to purchase to install on my 99 ek hatch with a asr brace.
I know all about the endlinks from a si, the sway bar/endlink connecting bushing to change from 8mm to 10mm.
Every search only talks about these differences but......
What i'd like to know is (ITR vs CTR)
1) Are they both made up differently in design and length? will the difference if any cause any difference in the way they act on the LCA's and the way the car handles.
2) Does the endlinks with the itr sway bar meet the lca and sway bar at the same angles that the ctr ways bar would have the endlinks at? Will that make a diff if the angles are not the same?

If you are wanting to use the ITR rear sway bar on your EK like mine, then you will need these:

These will allow you to use the SI end links that will line up with the EK lower control arms.
The CTR and ITR are same design, just slightly different lengths. The endlinks are different since the lower control arm mounting points are different between the EK and the EG/DC. If you use the CTR or SI rear sway bar, then you'll use the SI endlinks.

i know about the bushings sets and the si endlinks.
now that you mentioned the difference in length (which is what i wanted to know) will that cause any differences in the sway bar's reaction on the lca.
also will the length difference cause the endlink to be at a different angle ("sway bar angle to endlink" and "endlink angle to lca") to the ctr sway when connected

I had ordered an itr rear sway bar. It differs the CRT bar because of the end link setup. It's an easy solution which cost $20 to buy some inserts that fit at each end allowing you to use a civic end link
