91 Civic Si upgrading to Koni/GC - suggested spring rates?
I have a 91 Civic Si. I have been on Function Form Type 1's for the last 2 years. For those who don't know these have a 10k (564 lb) front and 6k (337 lb) rear spring rate. They are a little stiff but feel pretty good. I know many people hate them but I have had nothing but a good experience with my set. I have never tracked the car but would like to eventually, but nothing super competitive, just to have some fun every once in a while. I am going to get the koni/GC combo as I have read nothing but great things about it and decided I would try it when I was to get a new suspension setup. I have been leaning toward a 450 front 350 rear but unsure. I drive the car about once a week just for fun on a day off. I don't want it to be super uncomfortable but was thinking that a little softer than the function forms would still be decently aggressive ride?
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for any suggestions or what your experiences you may have had with your setup and spring rate.

That's pretty much personal preference on the rates. If the current isn't too rough I'd go a lil higher, I'm on 550 fr 450 rr on my DB and DC my EK is on 600 fr 500rr and all feel great for daily.
I have a hard time believing the spring rates you posted for the ff1s. I used to a have a set and they felt soft as ****, when emailing different companies trying find out what the spring rates were I recieved a different rate by each company so I'd say the true rate is unknown. That being said I'm currently running 430# front and 400# rear. The rear is perfect to me but the front is a bit soft, I would do around 500# front and 400# rear.

Cool, thanks for the replies. Luke at TH also suggested the 500f 400r.
