Koni 1150-5010 coilovers
Hi, know that everyone is raving over the Koni/GC sleeve setup. I've considered this setup as well, but was wondering if anyone has used the Koni 1150-5010 coilover kit.

I already emailed thmotorsports for questions regarding the available spring rates, but I could not find enough information as far as technical review/feedback.
This is for a track only civic.

I don't use the koni set but I use advanced design shocks with eibach springs.(very similar) Just curious what rate your planning on running? In my opinion I would keep it simple. Revalved Konis with Gc will give you the best performance. If you wanted to go even farther I'd go for some double rebound and bump adjustment if it's a track only car.
I intend to go with 12kg/mm front and 10kg/mm rear. I wanted to see what other options there were. The PIC Select P3 also have great reviews and are available in the spring rates I wanted. My only concern is I haven't received any correspondences to my emails o them yet.
If you call pic they'll answer I actually called them last month , great guys. I would suggest you run something more aggressive for a all track set up. I run 650 front 950 rear on my civic si 2000. W/ a 32 mm rest bar no front bar. The p3 is a great set up. They are my number 2 for my fav suspension company.
That's an aggressive rear spring rate. My car swings the rear around fairly easily but that might change with the new tires in the rear. Before I was running federal 595r tires but switched to Hoosier a6 for this year. I'm not really sure if I should stick to the 10k or jump to the 14k rear and stick with the 12k front.
If it was my car I would go ahead and get the pic r3 or even the r4 set up and run on some Hoosiers like your doing. I love a6s and r6s. I find myself running z214 hankooks they seem to be cheaper and just as good as r6s. Tires make all the difference, you'll Deffinatly stick now. What camber are you running in the rear ? I'm at around 2.5 rear 3 front. Zero toe in the rear, 1/8 out front. Like I was saying before pic is great and they'll get you out on the track competitively for a good price.
The camber up front is ~3, and the rear was zero. But that will change to -2 once the new suspension is all figured out. Right now the P3 and R3 are viable options.
The car sees probably no more than a few hours a year on the street, or driving to/from events.

Yea, it's a great set up, I'd run it on my track car but would opt of 14kg front 16kg rear. The bigger the rear rate the more the car will rotate then you take in the rear sway bar. My asr is set on a medium for stiffness. Car oversteers but it's very nice and feels in control. If it's an all track car by all means go big or go home lol. Run a rate and a suspension that's not typically for the street.
There not like amr so they should ship if they have them, I called last month and they had them in stock so hopefully your good. Then call asr and get a sway bar!! XD
