Default 90 crx rear passenger wheel not holding when ebrake is up

Some background: 90 crx dx with disc brake swap from 90 crx si. Not sure if the cables are from a integra or a crx si, but everything else is surely from an crx si. Disc swap was done about a year or so ago, but haven't really noticed the issue. So i adjusted the ebrake (nut at the ebrake handle) to where 2 clicks holds the driverside (left side) pretty well, but not the passenger (right side) well. Not until 6 clicks is when the right side will hold firmly. And it takes some strength (more than needed) to get it up to 6 clicks.

Has anyone had this issue before? Perhaps i have integra ebrake cables? They were pretty long to begin with.

The ebrake is cable actuated, so fluid shouldn't matter. That's the whole premise behind the e-brake. Anyways. Have you tried to tighten the line that connects to the ebrake handle? They are steel lines I think and they do stretch. I've replaced ebrake lines before due to stretching so far you can't tighten the nut anymore. But give the nut a shot first. I am assuming it is an issue with the cable since it does in fact work at some point.

Also, I think the reason you run into resistance at 6 clicks is because it's REALLY gripping that one wheel hard. Kind of telling you to stop pulling on it because it's tight enough. Should be able to tighten the one side or loosen the other to get them to grip at the same time and hold.

Disc brakes don't have a wheel cylinder, but thanks for the reply

Are you talking about the line at the handle or the line at the wheel?

And i've tightened the nut already.

Can i adjust the line at the wheel on disc brakes? I know i could do it on the drums i had, but I don't believe i can for these disc brakes. I'll get a pic of how the nut and cable is hooked up.

take your caliper off and test the cylinder or whatever on the caliper to see if it compresses or not, if it's stuck and won't move, you sir, have a seized brake caliper.
