Who has issues with their 2013 Honda Pilot, or who really likes it.
A lot of folks on forums such as this come in with an agenda. The purpose of this thread is to seek out a consensus of "the good, the bad and the ugly", and to pass that on to Honda ...
Personally, I have a lot of issues with the car:
- gas performance (not only me, but various references in documents by others - it rates as a poor performer !)
- design issues: a lot of things in the car have caused me to spend a lot more money that would have been nice ... and I'd like to see them gone
- other things ... like dealerships !!! Have you ever felt "cheated ?"
But, more than anything else, it is hoped this will be educational (at least for those who haven't taken the many hours req'd to read and memorize the silly thick manual).
But, of course, everyone will be EXPECTED to offer their personal assessment of the vehicle. That's what life is all about. Just because one person loves Honda does not mean everyone has to ...
One thing I did discover of late: if, after leaving the car for a period of time, and on returning one wants to open EVERY window, including rooftop, then holding down the unlock button on the key will do it. Now, I am sure I will use that bit of knowledge so many times (?? >??) in my next 10 lifetimes - but the question I have to ask: who done thunk that up, and what did it cost to implement. But, most important, how do I kill that "feature". It's a silly example, in my opinion, of: I have a hammer, therefor I need some nails !
But, of course, maybe someone will identify a rationale for having such a feature ...
Is this unique to Honda? Don't know, but my last vehicle certainly did not.

You're trolling us, aren't you?
And just wait until the hot summertime when you're coming out of the store with your kids in tow, *then* let me know what you feel about the "auto down" window feature.
Please, go trade your Pilot for a Ford or something and then go troll their forums.

How about some constructive comments for a change, rather than just attacking in a personal manner. You obviously are a Honda employee or Tech, or absolutely love that vehicle ... so, tell us what it is, and why .. maybe I'll learn something. For the moment, I will continue my serach for something that acts like my Suzuki did ..
But, your comment makes no sense to over half the population on NA - opening one or two doors does the same thing - hey, heat in a car has been with us for a long time, I believe ..
However, it seems to me that you, and perhaps others, see no value in identifying things that should be done to improve the car (or are you saying it is perfect now ?)
PS: As to trading the Pilot for another: I'd love to, but the cash hit would be atrocious. The car was way-overpriced ...!
BTW: where are the NA-market Honda's made ? Is the design for the vehicle universal through all marketplaces, or is it different in each?
