Hello all!

My mechanic has told me that the power steering pressure host needs to be replaced. The part alone was quoted @ over $300. I have searched the part online and found the OEM part for a little less but not much. I did, however, find the part for under $100 but it's not OEM. The brand is Gates.

Would you recommend getting the OEM part or the Gates brand part?

Gates makes good quality belts and hoses. Some Honda OEM parts *are* Gates.

 

I had to replace mine recently and went with Edelmann. $59 shipped on ebay.

 

I've replaced everything except that hose on mine including the pump. the worse was the return lines down on the subframe I couldn't find anything but OEM

 

I would use Gates products; I have had good experience with them in the past.
