Hope for my Headlight?
Is there any hope that i can restore this headlight?
so i heard about clear coating headlights then i did some research i saw some really good results, so i cleaned my headlight with headlight cleaner then after i wiped it down then sprayed it, it turned out horrible i tried wiping it down, but that made it worst, so i tried to clean it with some nail polish remover because i read online that you could use that to clean your headlights, but it just made it even worst, so i tried to just scuff down the area and it became a bit better but is there any way to fix this? i'm so pissed.

I just did some headlights this weekend. I use a da sander, started with 400 dry, 600 or 800 dry, 1000 dry, 1500 wet, finished with 3000 wet. used a buffer with rubbing compound and I'd say it looks real good. trying to buff it out by hand is gonna be real hard. like someone else mentioned, get the 3m kit, all you need is a drill and it comes with everything else needed...
on different vehicles I have used from 1000 to 1200 to 1500 to 2000 grit in steps, depending how bad the lens is, then I use a buffer like for car bodies, with wool pad, I use 3m compound, I have 2 different ones I use, & if headlight is off car I use a buffing pad on my floor stand mounted buffer, which is home made sorta like a bench grinder, but was made over well over 20 years ago, it started life is a electric motor with dual shafts, & bolts had heads cut off & welded to end of shaft.
