Default Gas Smell While Driving

I have 92 accord i usually feel gas smell inside cabin if any window is open of course it makes vabours to enter the car. Happens most during jump or turn either left or right. Pulled down the tank and saw there was no rust no leak. Sending unit and Fuel Pump were intact.

What i noticed today is when i topped of the gas i saw some drops dipping by. This seems to be dangerous. But these drops not fall on regular basis only when car has full tank after driving.

I am suspecting that above is culprit.. Before purchasing the car some one had already removed the canister. This plastic Air Vent only has one pipe connected to it. There is no canister do not know where the pipe go. What problems may happen if it is not connected? it would be great if someone can send me the picture for its proper pipe diagram without canister.

If canister is worth it then i would have to buy it and install it and i can do that i suppose

This is for USDM '92 Accord...

It looks like the part you pulled off is #1 which I'm gussing shoudl attach to #11 below...

Which then goes to the front of the car and attaches to the canister#8 with hose #51

But that is just a guess.

so fuel smells inside and outside the car could be a charcoal canister problem?

@afnan- Im pretty sure mike knows where the "part" is located seeing as he posted the diagrams. Just a heads up.

The "part" in question is in fact the "two way valve". Find em pretty cheap at parts stores or even cheaper at JYs. Very common problem on accords through 02'. Almost always the "I have a fuel smell" culprit.
