1993 honda accord lx starting issues please help dianose problem
hello my name is wayne i have a 1993 honda accord that does run when it wants to in the mornings you can hear the fuel pump running but after awhile of driving the car after it gets warm it doesnt start when you turn the key over you dont hear the fuel pump while turning it over when this happens i have to let the car to sit five minutes then after that it will start can you all tellme what i can do to fix this problem im thinking its the fuel pump or do you all think it something else please let me know please
do i disconnect it from the fuel rail at the injectors because im askking there no quick disconnect there its bolted in by a bolt do i remove it from there when it tries to do it again
I'm sure there's a better way to do this, and some of the folks here would know best. I don't think it matters where along the main line you check. Just remember if the pump is working you'll be spraying gas and that's a setup for disaster if you're not really careful. When I did it I clamped a piece of hose on the line and put it in a container away from the car. Would be good to do a search and see what other advice is out there.
