Default P61 DINAN ecu

Hey fellas I have a p61 ecu for sale, it is a dinan ecu that has been in my garage for like 7 years. I got it from a friend a lonnng time ago.

Ecu side sticker info:
37820-P61-A00
420-102368
Dinan Ecu front plate sticker info:
D935-401B

I tried the ecu on my 93 civic ex and turned the car on and stays on but once gas is pressed the engine shuts down. Def a fuel air problem.

Ok so I tried doing some research and didn't find much, other than that it was a deal with dinan and honda way back in the day and Dinan ended up selling the rights to another company and THAT company went under.

I don't have exact specs on the ecu but from what my friend told me it was on a integra, and from what I've looked up, it belongs to a 92-93 gsr.

maybe it's rare,maybe it's not..

Best offer takes it

I think mine was a pr4. Cant remember, it was ages ago. However I remember the car running great with it. I always associated Dinan with bmw, so I was surprised when I saw it in the car

P61 belongs to the db2 gsr. Originally for the b17a motors.

I can confirm this is true.

Too bad it's chipped since that will decrease the value on something like this. Unmodified P61's are fairly rare so occasionally you find someone willing to pay up to $150 for one. Plus it sounds like there might be a problem if it can't even run the car it was installed in

I never tried it on a b17, what I meant to say is it didn't run right because I had put it on a d16z6

I tried running it on my d16z6 and it turned on but when I gave it gas it turned off like if maybe it was flooding? Or not enough gas(couldn't be?)

I realize that, but I still wouldn't expect the engine to die immediately. Run shitty, or throw a code, yeah, but shut off? Didn't say there IS a problem, just said there MIGHT be a problem - just something to be mindful of.

Just cut or desolder the J1 switch so it will run stock. P61 ECU is B17 and pretty much similar to the B16. You should be getting a code 23 since D16Z6 doesn't come with knock sensor unless the chip has removed the knock sensor...

It's hard to see but I think you have a removable switch on the J1. I think its the red thing above the SST chip.

Try removing the chip and see if the engine stay ON while you give it gas. It might be a bad chip. Ive seen this happen out of the blue with other ECU's.

Ok fellas so I removed the red j1 and started up the car,it fires up now and stays on, only thing is has the cel and I believe it's from the knock sensor.
