Well, you knife-edge cranks, not girdles...other than that, it seems like you're putting a lot of money into everything EXCEPT your rotating assembly. Get some real forged rods and pistons.

My pistons and rods are from RCAutoworks, I talked to Bob directly and he should me a lot of his products and did alot of research on them! Im very pleased with their quality! I know everyone usually runs eagles but with a vitara setup I didnt want a cr of 7.xx:1... with these rods amd decking ill be right at 9.1:1! Turbo to come later

Im wondering about the validity of this thread..

looks like you got everything you want.. so what opinions are you wanting?

Personally, I wouldnt use that turbo, you dont need a fuel rail unless you just want bling. Use the rail cash for a proper breather tank from autoworks. they have one that attaches to the pass side shock tower.

Me too !!! 16x9 is nuts imo and diamond steels are the widest I've seen coming in at 15x10 ! but 17x11 I can only imagine how much that will weight. All that money for engine mods and virtually nothing for suspension and want's to autocross ? seems legit *cough cough* typical Honda owner.

I think the original thread title said engine build, so OP has been focused only on the engine in this thread.

I could be wrong but having all this cash for the motor, I doubt the suspension is going to stay stock.

Actually I'm mistaken on the thread title, wasn't engine specific. Still going to give the benefit of the doubt to OP and believe he's going to upgrade the suspension too. All new HardRace bushings, Koni Yellows and Ground Control Coil Overs etc etc, or whatever flavor he's after.

But that's my point too lol I have a feeling OP hasn't learnt too much about suspension etc seeing as 17x11 is crazy and has his budget into the engine. My friends who ran in the modified-FWD class at button willow raceway GTA-SLB run 16x8 at the most. Just saying I'd like to see him do autocross or something else with his car but right now it's set up for drag/street.

OP pls post pics of theses 17x11 +20 you have

I was wanting some opinions on the engine build! But suspension wise im going to be running kw full coilovers and hardrace etc... strut bars front and rear, bwr suspension components(plates, a arms etc...). Also I work with a Tudor series team and know what goes into a suspension. My main focus of this build is the engine! The rest of the car is solid

These are my tires for everyone who is asking! Side wall to sidewall they measure about 10.5 inches wide! I absolutely love them! They grim haed and take rain like a beast! I know theyre not the beast for autocrossing but this is the setup I like! It feels balanced and right! I use to run 15x8s and didnt like them! For DD and autocross once a month and road course every other month theyre great! And also im barely lowered maybe half inch in the front and quarter in the rear

This car has track time already, theres no problems for suspension or tires! For everyone who thinks its a problem well oh well! I build GTD Porsche Gt3 rsr's and Audi R10 Gt's for a living! I've got it lol
