How to tell if f20b is manual or auto motor
There is no vin on this f20b I'm about to buy, but I need to make sure it's the manual version.
There is the f20b stamp and under it reads 2703301
All help is appreciated thanks!

Why does it need to be the manual version? Only difference was a difference in lift and duration on the cams and the ECU. All the parts still bolt up the same whether they are Manual or Auto.
Sorry I can't answer your question about how to tell the difference from the outside. Hopefully someone else can help.

You realize that what you are talking about might be a 10whp difference. I realize that 10whp is 10whp and it's better than nothing, but I wouldn't loose any sleep over the difference.
What price do they have it listed at?

Well, does it have a flywheel or flexplate(driveplate) on the back of the crank?
Outside of measuring the cams, AFAIK, there are no tell tale differences between an MT and AT F20B.
Someone mentioned that Honda may be able to decipher those non Vin numbers off the block, but I have no idea if that is true.

The TB diameter is also larger with the MT, so measure that too.
You have two options. Provided the block has a vin you plug that into any online Honda dealer and it will give you part options. If the options include a clutch then it's a stick.
Options two is to look at the throttle body. The auto will have two slots, one for the throttle cable and another for the kickdown cable.
