CTR cams, skunk2 sprockets, and new timing belt.... wierd "supercharged" noise....
CTR cams, skunk2 sprockets, and new timing belt went in today. Now the car makes a whining supercharged noise from the timing belt area... any ideas?
You may have the belt too tight. I actually prefer my timing belt to sing a little, loose belt = problems (but is quiet).

either too tight or the belt is rubbing on the plastic timing belt covers somewhere.

I don't think it's to tight. check the belt for iregular wear caused from the belt rubbing on the plastic covers. The belt is not creeping over on the sprockets is it?

My old Civic did the same exact thing when I had an AEM cam gear and a new timing belt installed. I believe it has something to do with belt tension and the fact that the grooves for the belt on the cam gear are slightly different shaped for better grip i assume... anyway, the noise slowly went away after a while, don't sweat it.
dude your gonna love it barry... i tuned the cam gears some more... pulls really hard.
